Progressive hints
GTA 6 hints, one step at a time
Being stuck for ten minutes and reading a full walkthrough are not the only two options. A hint ladder gives you the smallest amount of help that gets you moving.
Hints for GTA VI unlock after release
This title has not been released, so there is no verified mission list, chapter order, map data or walkthrough knowledge to draw on. Spoiler Check and the protection modes work today because they analyse how content is written, not a database of game facts. Progress tracking, progress-aware answers, hints and missed content stay switched off until verified information exists after release — we will not invent it. Try the ladder on our demo game to see exactly how it behaves. What the four levels look like
- Hint 1
Very subtle. Points your attention somewhere without telling you what to do.
Example wording: “Take another look around the immediate area.”
- Hint 2
More directional. Narrows the search without naming the answer.
Example wording: “Pay particular attention to alternate paths.”
- Hint 3
Strong guidance. Tells you what kind of thing you are looking for.
Example wording: “The way forward is above you, not ahead of you.”
- Full solution
The explicit answer. Only ever shown after you choose it.
Example wording: “Shown only on request.”
Example wording is illustrative and does not describe any real game.
Why the ladder is enforced on the server
A lot of hint systems hide later steps with a blur or a click-to-reveal. That is a visual trick: the text is still in the page. Anyone using a screen reader hears it, reader mode renders it and view-source shows it.
Here, each level is fetched from the server when you press reveal. Levels you have not asked for are not in the page at all, so there is nothing to accidentally uncover.
You also cannot skip. Level three is only available once you have taken level two. If you want the answer immediately, you can walk down the ladder in three clicks — but that is a decision you make, not a default you fall into.
